This fantastic red overglaze ceramic tiki mug is called "The Happy Cannibal" (aka Kai-Kanak). It was designed by artist Atomic Tony Tiki and was inspired by the Jack London 1912 novel, "A Son of the Sun" and represents a whimsical take on Mr. London's cannibals featured in his novel. He is affectionately known as "The Cookie Monster" and is perhaps eating Gingerbread Boys. He measures 7-1/4" tall and holds about 11 ounces. A Limited Edition mug that is now retired - very limited supply.
