Ku is the Hawaiian god of war, virility, masculinity and certain types
of healing, crafts an other cultural practices. The god Ku required his
own temples where the ancient Hawaiian priest would make sacrifices to
him. The word "ku" in the Hawaiian language has many meanings. The
most common translation is "to stand, to rise". This nicely detailed, 3 dimensional, wooden tiki is hand carved. It measures about 16" tall x 3-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" deep.
