Beautifully hand carved, wood fish hook features an intricate Octopus on the front and other carvings all around the lower part of the hook. The 13-1/2" tall hook is attached and lashed to the wood base that measures about 6" x 2-1/4" and the top is also cord-wrapped. In Polynesian myth, Kanaloa, the god of the ocean, often took the shape of an Octopus. The Octopus symbolizes the link that unites all the Polynesian islands.

 Exact size, carving designs and wood grain will vary slightly. Made of exotic Suar (Monkeypod) wood.
