The simulated flax piupiu skirt (100% cotton) is made to imitate the genuine Maori skirt. It has an elastic waist with velcro closure to fit various sizes and the length can easily be cut to a shorter length if desired. The printed
waist sash is lined and has two velcro closures in the back. 1" wide printed cotton headband (tipare) has an elastic strip in the back to fit all sizes.
This costume is comfortable, easy
to wear, and the velcro closures allow it to be adjusted to fit sizes a
bit smaller or larger around than the measurements given. (Sizes below list the approximate measurements of the costume and may vary slightly)
