This heavy, nicely detailed, 3 dimensional, deluxe wooden tiki is hand carved. It measures about 17.5"-18" tall x 6.25" wide x 6.25" deep and weighs about 5-6 pounds. Made from exotic Suar Wood (Acacia/Monkeypod Wood).
Ku is the Hawaiian god of war, virility, masculinity, certain types of healing, crafts and other cultural practices. The god Ku required his own temples where the ancient Hawaiian priest would make sacrifices to him. The word "ku" in the Hawaiian language has many meanings. The most common translation is "to stand, to rise".
