Honua Lani, a professional Polynesian dancer for over 30 years, presents this series of instructional dvds, manuals, and cds that allow you to learn the authentic dances of Hawaii, Tahiti, and New Zealand at home. #H01, #H02, and #H03 of the series provide the basic instruction for both auana (modern-style) and kahiko (ancient-style) hula, as well as historical and cultural information to allow dancers to feel informed and to perform with confidence. #H04, #H07, and #H08 are choreographies only - no instruction. Dvds include a complete performance of each routine in a different authentic costume; manuals include each written routine and translation.
