Kap Te'O Tafiti is the star of the evening show at the Polynesian Cultural Center and The Ambassador of the Samoan Village in Laie, Hawaii. His fire knife dancing skills, martial arts experience, years of teaching, big heart and sense of humor make him a very unique performer and an excellent instructor.
Kap demonstrates over a dozen fire knife techniques including several basic one hand and two hand front spins, back handed spins, figure 8, under the leg, around the neck, behind the back low and high, throwing the knife into the air and spinning two knives at once, while describing each move and utilizing close-ups and slow motion. He breaks down each move into easy to follow lessons, discusses posture and how to use the entire stage area, teaches variations of each spin and how to combine them into a complete routine.
