Young girls learn the basics of hula in this fantasy filled and informative DVD that lets any little girl "be a hula girl". First we hear the background of hula while we watch beautifully costumed children perform. Then join the other girls on the beach in Hawaii as master hula dancer Leina'ala Kuloloio demonstrates warm-up exercises and then gives easy-to-follow instructions for two complete hula routines: Pearly Shells (seated using shells as a dance implement) and The Hukilau Song (standing danced hula).
